This Puppy/Dog is a purebred AKC Miniature American Shepherd.
Pleasant Wood's Miniature American Shepherds is a registered kennel name with AKC. The first words on the Registered name of this Puppy/ Dog will start with Pleasant Woods.
Breeder/Seller reserves the right to refuse sale of any of our Puppy/Dogs to anyone.
Breeder/Seller reserves the right to refuse sale of said Puppy/Dog to the purchaser should the purchaser decide not to keep the Puppy/Dog.
Breeder/Seller will supply up to date health record information to the buyer at the time of transfer of Puppy/Dog along with registration application papers which name is to Start with Pleasant Woods (Unless said Puppy/Dog is being sold as a pet Breeder/Seller will hold the registration papers until written proof of spay or neuter is provided from a licensed Veterinarian a along with documentation providing the Puppy/Dogs microchip number. Puppy must be spayed or neutered by the birthdate of 7 months of age. With this documentation Breeder/Seller will then provide limited registration application.) This option will be void after the birthdate of 7 months of age and no registration application will be provided.
All puppies are structure evaluated and temperament tested during the eighth week of age. At this time it is determined which puppys are pet and which puppys are show quality.
This puppy is to be considered a companion animal. Although the above described puppy/dog may have exceptional structure and may be capable of excellence in the show ring, no warranty is provided by the Breeder/Seller to the purchaser as to the purpose of breeding or showing said Puppy/Dog. Breeder/Seller does not guarantee size of Puppy/Dog to remain a Toy size.
The buyer shall maintain the puppy in good condition, including adherence to a regular immunization schedule, heartworm prevention, good diet and a clean and safe environment.
Breeder/Seller guarantees this puppy/dog for 72 hours from when the Purchaser takes possession of this puppy/dog to be in good health. After the 72 hours the Breeder/Seller has no further liability for the health of the puppy/dog. Buyer agrees tthat during the 72 hour time period to have this puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian. Should buyer fail to have this puppy/dog examined by a licensed Veterinarian within the 72 hours time frame this Guarantee is Void. This guarantee expires 72 hours after buyer takes possession of the puppy/dog. Minor Treatable problems such as diahhrea, Coccidiosis, Parasites, Giardia, Etc. Are treatable problems in puppies, especially under stress of new circumstances, and will not be covered by this warranty, Although every effort is made to prevent this.
At no time is Breeder/Seller responsible for any veterinary bills or any costs for the care of said puppy/dog after the dog has been purchased.
If said puppy/dog is to be found in poor health, upon a written statement from a licensed Veterinarian, Buyer will have two options:
1: To keep said puppy/dog assuming all costs for its care.
2: Return said puppy/dog at buyers expense for a full refund of purchase price only upon the Breeder/Sellers receipt of the Veterinarians written statement and proof of findings regarding the health of said puppy/dog.
This guarantee expires 72 hours from the time the Purchaser receives said puppy/dog in their possession.
Breeder/Seller has vaccinated this puppy/dog as required for its age at the time of this purchase agreement.
Breeder/Seller guarantees said puppy/dog up to 18 months of age (18 months from the birth date of said puppy/dog) for genetic defects which will take the puppys life..
Breeder/Seller agrees to replace said puppy/dog with a puppy/dog of equal value within a 12 month time frame (this 12 month time frame is to give Breeder/Seller adequate time for new litters to arrive), once a written and signed statement of findings and testing are obtained from two Licensed Veterinarian's from two different clinics should said puppy/dog obtain one of the following Genetic Defects.
Genetic conditions due to genetic Disorder's which will take the puppy/dogs life. This must be discovered no later than 18 months of age from the birthdate of the puppy/dog (This 18 month health gurarantee to be void if puppy/dog has been used for the purpose of breeding) This must be submitted with a written statement from (2) two different Licensed Veterinarian's from 2 different clinics certifying that this disorder will take the puppys life.
Buyer may then do one of the following:
A: Buyer may keep the puppy/dog with a refund of half of the purchase price of said puppy/dog. Buyer agrees to spay or neuter puppy/dog at this point and send a copy of neuter/spay certificate from the licensed Veterinarian to the Breeder/Seller.
B: Return said puppy/dog to Breeder/Seller at the Buyers expense, for a replacement puppy/dog of equal value at the Breeder/Sellers discretion. Breeder/Seller at this point reserves the right to have a third opinion on the diagnosis from the Veterinarian of Breeder/Sellers choice. At this time the Buyer will sign all registration papers over to Breeder/Seller.
C: If said puppy/dog has to be put down due to these defects, A written statement from two licensed veterinarian's from two different clinics must be provide to Breeder/Seller stating that is it medically necessary for puppy/dog to be put down due to these defects. Breeder/Seller will replace said puppy/dog within a 12 month time frame from breeder/seller recieves documentation from the licensed veterinarian stating that puppy/dog has been put down. This will give Breeder/Seller adequate time for a future litter to arrive in order to replace said puppy/dog with a puppy/dog of equal value at Breeder/Sellers discretion. At this time Buyer will return all Registration papers of said puppy/dog to the Breeder/Seller.
Breeder/Seller makes no guarantees regarding the loss of said puppy/dog in the case of accidental death, theft, sickness due to lack of vaccinations, etc. Any sickness not related to Genetics, or any loss beyond the Breeder/Sellers control except as stated above.
This sales contract is non-transferable. Should the Buyer decide to sell said Puppy/Dog at any one time. The Breeder/Seller has the first right to purchase said puppy/dog back.
Should the buyer relinquish the ownership of said puppy/dog, This contract shall be deemed null and void.
Buyer agrees to pay all costs to ship said puppy/dog.
1.: Crate to ship puppy/dog in .
2: The costs of the Veterinarians exam and health certificate.
3: The total cost for all flight arrangements to ship the puppy/dog
Buyer Must have all funds for said puppy/dog paid for in full to Breeder/Seller 10 day's prior to receiving said puppy/dog. Buyer agrees that if funds for shipping and purchase are not received within the ten days of purchase agreement, unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed to in writing by both parties, the Buyer will forfeit all rights to the puppy/dog. Breeder/Seller will retain the $250.00 deposit.
Breeder/Seller reserves the right that in the event Breeder/Seller should decide to discontinue breeding Miniature American Shepherds, Toy Australian Shepherds and Miniature Australian Shepherds this contract will become null and void.
The Buyer has read and understands the foregoing and agrees that all parts of this contract constitute a binding agreement with the Breeder/Seller and the Buyer.
Buyer agrees that this contract is not transferable.
If either the Breeder/Seller or the Buyer takes legal action regarding this contract, said action shall be initiated in the county of the Breeder/Sellers residence.
